Before we begin
The term 'HNFT Community' refers to current community (collectors, activists, hobbyists, and/or enthusiasts) that exist around historical, relic and/or vintage crypto collectibles
The term 'We', 'Our', 'Us' refers to entity that manage and operate historics.xyz
HNFT Community and Historics.xyz are separate entities and therefore we, or our ideas, or any content located in this web application doesn't necessarily represent the entirety of the HNFT Community.
We consider ourself as part of the HNFT Community
What is historics.xyz?
Historics.xyz is a curation web app, or rather an ideological framework composed by the collective vision of HNFT community combined with 0xSchatz's own vision to showcase and pay homage to crypto collectibles (particularly those currently known as NFTs) that pioneered the ideation and transition to true natively digital blockchain collectible.
The vision and mission
To create a solid fundamental and ideological framework around historic crypto collectible and to curate crypto collectible based on that framework.
To be a solid foundation that inspire discourse, and/or to be the catalyst of new consensus around HNFTs.
Defining historic CryptoAsset
Generally, we have our own Blockchain around Blockchain and CryptoCollectible built and designed to navigate around the topic. Throughout our curation process, the baseline or general criteria may include the following parameters, but not limited to: 1. Early crypto collectible, as early as 2009 with fungible Bitcoin. 2. Historic 'firsts' that are provably significant. We will explore these criteria and metrics with more depth in the Blockchain section of this knowledge base.
Subjectivity and Objectivity
The blockchain has only undergone a decade of history and activism. The early nature of blockchain experimentations makes it difficult for us and especially the HNFT community to address, or to create an array of 'social consensus' and to apply it as part of the collective, or whole vision of HNFT community. However, everything included in this knowledge base will majorly be based on the observation or study of the blockchain and may include minor subjective opinion.
